RPG Haven

Just a heads up I plan on adding some extensions to RPG Haven this weekend so we will be down for a short period of time until I get them installed and make sure they function correctly. I know right? It definitely makes me feel old. I'm happy I got to experience the Pokemon craze when it was brand new. I remember news outlets saying Pokemon was just going to be a phase. Also I need to get back to working on my Gen 1 hack!

Having a deep dive in each character's backstory really makes for a good RPG story. Especially if they tragically end up dead and you get super emotional when they do lol. I love playing games that have good stories that can touch your soul.

Pokemon turns 30 years old this month! I can't wait to see what Nintendo will announce for the future of the franchise. But it's crazy to think the Gen 1 games came out almost 30 years ago in Japan. Red and Green are what started it all, without these games there wouldn't be a franchise!

Nah I don't think so, the world around us is always changing which paves the way for new stories to be told. Things are getting rough out there for some, and I think this will help create new stories.

I forgot we had this thread lol, I was posting my livestreams in the "Thinking about live streaming" thread. I need to get back to playing this game on stream sometime, it's a fun game! I wasn't too far in the game yet either.

Yep that's why it's called Final Fantasy, crazy to think about! I just restored light to the water crystal this evening, so I'm getting one step closer to the end of the game! My party is at level 32 now, I suspect I'll need to do some grinding soon.
