Re: Should we make a section for Tabletop RPGs?
I would recommend you add a section, after all, old people like me get confused when we see RPG, and realize it's not ttRPG, but vRPG. I know I could add some discussion points here.
I would probably keep with the same theme you have going with your naming convention though. For the video games ...

Re: Pokemon Go
I'm surprised this game is still available to be played! I remember when it came out, seemed like everybody was playing this game. In fact, I remember listening to NPR one morning and spat out my coffee from laughing so hard because of this game. Apparently, some random dude broke into a Sheriff's ...

Re: Phantasy Star
I've played Phantasy Star...oh wait, nope. That was the later game, the Online game that was on the surface of a planet or a space ship? I forget, it's been a while. I was surprised that it was an 8-bit classic (not the newer online game). I didn't realize this title goes back this far!

Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland
Honestly, I'm not even sure this game fits here, but...
Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland was a Play Station 3 game that I absolutely fell in love with. It was technically a role playing game, but had a very strong emphasis on crafting. I loved the anime feel of the game, and it the things ...

Re: Magic Knight Rayearth
I've got an emulator on my PC when I implemented the SMF Arcade on my old forum. I'll have to see if I can find this game now!
Update: Okay, I found it. Had to dig for a bit, but found it!

Re: Do you listen to music while grinding in a RPG?
I remember when I was going through a really epic Techno phase, I found a beat called Sailor Moon Extended Dance Mix. It was perfect for grinding! I remember just having that tune playing on auto repeat for like hours. Another cool techno favorite of mine at the time was something about Sonic the ...

Senkusha's finally arrived!
I thought I posted one of these intros a long time ago. Too many forums, I guess! LOL Anyway, I'm Senkusha. I'm a girl, a geek, and a role player (mostly table top and online Play by Post these days, but in times when I was younger, and richer, I'd play the occasional video game). My primary ...

Re: What makes a compelling RPG story?
Having a detailed backstory and immersive story for each playable character is important to the game play. I'm playing a character based on who they are, rather than what [skills] they are[/have]. I want to have that intimate connection with a character, I want to dream about being that character ...

Re: What was your first RPG?
I'm thinking back now.... I do believe my first actual role playing game was Asheron's Call. Before a friend introduced me to the world of MMORPGs, my primary haven for gaming was RTS games.
