Re: Cassette Beasts 2002
Looks pretty good, never played any of the series though.
If you're a fan of Pokemon you'd like Cassette Beasts. It's a fun turn based monster collecting game, this one is supposed to take place in an alternative reality version of London in the year 2002 according to the synopsis. The first ...

Re: Favorite save points
Oh yeah those were pretty cool! I also kind of liked the idea that you had to use the Save Crystal item in Final fantasy VII for the final dungeon since you could use it whenever you wanted to rather than waiting for one.
And my idiot self used it at the very start not realizing it had a ...

Re: Miss about old RPGs
I'm happy emulation exists so we could go back and play the old games and use frameskipping during battles especially in games that we've played numerous times lol. I do miss when most RPGs were turn based due to limitations, but we've been getting new games in that style so they're not gone but ...

A little too rough looking for my tastes, but has a nice classic rpg feel.

Re: Legend of Legaia
I can definitely understand that lol. Since Legend of Legaia is my favorite RPG of all time I think it'll be fun. I believe the author of the randomizer made it to where random enemies won't be overpowered like in some randomizers. I only randomized a few things, like the starting items ...

Re: What social commentary in RPGs has stuck with you the most?
I like the commentary that Legend of Legaia has, in the lore a powerful weapon was created by one town to defeat another in war. The weapon got out of control and couldn't be contained, and it messed up the entire world of Legaia. It already proves that war is pointless, and there's really no ...
