Undertale

Post by Ravenfreak »

I've tried playing this game in the past but I never made it too far. I would like to give it another chance at some point. I have it on the PS4. Anyways have you ever played this game before? It's hard to believe it came out a decade ago! I remember when it came out everyone was talking about it left and right on forums, social media, etc. Fun fact, Toby Fox the guy who worked on this actually went on to work for Nintendo and compose a few songs for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! He also made a few Earthbound rom hacks back in 2008 with his brothers. Here's a playthrough of the entire game with no commentary if you want to check it out!

I really like to play it, but the one route would be impossible for me and the pacifist route would be just as hard as I like to kill in rpgs lol.

Yeah I don't think I could go this route either lol. When I played the game for the first time I tried my hardest not to kill anything and failed. I barely played the game though. I honestly forgot about the different routes you can take to get a different ending. :V

Undertale is one of those games where you need to take a lot of time to make decisions. I did the pacifist run and it was very rewarding and quite emotional too.

I think to get the true ending, you have to run a few routes a couple of times.

If you are looking for a game that rewards your patience, then Undertale is actually the game to choose. The gameplay might be difficult initially but it gets better as the game progresses.
