This was another monster collecting game to be released on the GBC. Some of the sprites used in this game look very similar to sprites used in the Generation 1 Pokemon games. I've played it a little bit before but never made it too far. The cartridge is interesting, it has a infrared sensor so you could read signals from tvs and vcrs to boost your Robopon's stats. It's a very expensive game since it's one of the lesser known games for the GBC. We only got Sun version here, but there was a star and moon version that came out in Japan. Because we never got the other games, we couldn't obtain all 153 Robopons. We did get both sequels for the GBA, but they'll get their own thread in the 32 bit section.

Looks like a pokemon fan game of sorts, kind of nice looking honestly.

It's not a bad game actually. I think Atlus actually made this game, which is crazy to think since they made Persona.Demonskeith wrote: Wed Jun 11, 2025 5:57 am Looks like a pokemon fan game of sorts, kind of nice looking honestly.

Oh nice, Atlus is pretty good with these kinds of games. I'll have to give it a try to see how much it still holds up.Ravenfreak wrote: Wed Jun 11, 2025 9:21 pmIt's not a bad game actually.
