I would just play to enjoy the story, game is too grindy to make it harder.

Since I've beat the game numerous times I like to try and beat it in a way I haven't yet, but I definitely get it lol. It's definitely grind heavy for sure!

I know that feeling too. I started a challenge run once and never finished it too. The Maniac pack can really push your patience, but that’s what makes it all fun.

I hope the newest digimon gets more people into this series and gets this game a remaster.

Man I hope so too! I know many fans over on r/Digimon have mentioned wanting a remaster of the first three Digimon World games. I think a fan was working on a remaster of this one, I'll have to see if I can go find the videos because I remember watching them either early this year or late last year...

I remember those fan remaster clips! They looked really good actually. It would be awesome if Digimon World 3 is remake it had such a cool world for its time.

Tbh, I don't think this game is that great. It's hella grindy and the constant back tracking gets annoying and rediculous. Having to go back and forth and back and forth to progress the story gets annoying.

That's why I hope someone could hack the game to make it easier to backtrack, like a teleportation system or fly like in the Pokemon games to make it easier to get back from one sector to another.

I do remember a lot of difficulty spikes. You’d be in a region and get to a point where you’re one shotting enemies, and when you get to the next region end up struggling. I think the desert was the most egregious because you’d also go a large swath of it, and can’t upgrade your equipment until basically at the end.
