Wish they would have come out with a yellow version, as I had yellow and red back in the day.

I think they reason why they didn't go with the Gen 1 games is probably because they're so broken lol. That's my theory on it anyways. I would have loved to see the Gen 1 games come to the Nintendo Switch Online service. It was cool that they re-released them on the 3DS a decade ago.

I 100% agree with you! So many people would buy that up, they could add Gens 1-3 to start and then later make compilations with 4-6.

Yep, they already fixed some things for Fire Red and Leaf Green so surely they can fix some broken things in the older games too. I know Gen 1 would be a nightmare to try and fix all the glitches. I've thought about trying to fix a few but eh I don't know if I have that knowledge myself yet lol.

I'm pretty sure the first gen games are pretty simple coding, should be a good place to learn how to do things.
