How Do RPGs Effectively Handle Morality and Player Choice?
How Do RPGs Effectively Handle Morality and Player Choice?
I find that it's very rare for RPGs to shy away from rather heavy themes involving morality which most often puts them in a somewhat serious spotlight. The Witcher and Fallout are just some examples that tackle such serious issues. The depth they add to the game world makes a big difference and it's what most players cherished.

I try to make the right choices or something less heartache. I think the first time I ran into this was FF 6 with choices needed to be made in world of ruin.

Player choice and morality in RPGs can be majorly influential. There are some games such as The Witcher and Fallout, which really do this well by giving the player tough choices.Demonskeith wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 6:15 am I try to make the right choices or something less heartache.
