RPGs often tackle social commentary that has stuck with so many of us. BioShock and Witcher 3 are a typical example of RPGs that really engage in debates around politics and morals. What social commentary in RPGs has stuck with you the most?

Final Fantasy 7 had some good things going, like how corporations tend to kill the planet to turn a profit.

The commentary of societal norms in Dragon Age: Inquisition Underbelly stayed with me to this day. It goes to show how strong RPGs can be when it comes to social issues.

I like the commentary that Legend of Legaia has, in the lore a powerful weapon was created by one town to defeat another in war. The weapon got out of control and couldn't be contained, and it messed up the entire world of Legaia. It already proves that war is pointless, and there's really no winner at the end. You just end up having to rebuild what's been destroyed due to man's destruction.
