Now this is a interesting game. It's not even truly a Final Fantasy game, it's actually the first game in another Square series called SaGa. They changed the name for the North American release since they wanted to appeal to a bigger audience. This game is interesting because right when you first start a new save, you're prompted to pick a class for your main party member. There's three classes, Human, Mutant (Espers in the Japanese release), and monsters. I own a Japanese copy of the first game but I haven't played it yet. I think I also emulated this game once but didn't get far in it. Have you played this game before?

Another game I borrowed from my cousin, it was old school but I really enjoyed it.

Not sure on the replay value, it's way too classic old school in a way.

I admit that it's old school. I think that it is part of the appeal of the game though some players just like going back to it because of its peculiarities.

I wonder if SE will ever get around to giving this game a remake or some kind of release on the Switch online service.

I'm hoping they will re-release a collection of the Final Fantasy Legend games. Since they updated the main series, they should do the same for this even if it's not related to the real Final Fantasy series.

That would be great, particularly to people who have never had the opportunity or time to play them during their time.
