Minecraft
I think this counts as a RPG right? You play as a character who levels up, and forages food and crafts houses. If it's not a RPG my bad, but man it's a great game! Been playing it a lot lately with my young cousin, I suck at building things but it's fun just running around the map and killing zombies and other hordes. We don't have a server, I prefer to just make sure him and I are playing I don't trust people online.

Re: Minecraft
Minecraft absolutely counts as a RPG and it's a really fun one at that! I own it on Xbox One, but since I have a physical copy of the game I can't play it on my Series S unless I buy it again. I'm wanting to eventually upgrade to a Series X in the future, I still have my Xbox One but it's not hooked up. I'm not good a building things either.

Re: Minecraft
In 2016, I was hired to post on a forum dedicated to Minecraft. Before that I had not even heard about the game. Since I had to create content, I needed to play it myself. I have been playing since then and it is one of my all time favorite games
Re: Minecraft
Minecraft can be addicting, but I prefer other builder games such as Sim City. I find them more entertaining.

Re: Minecraft
I played a little of it, since the game doesn't have much of an end game, I never fully picked it up. Though I hear the recent movie is fun.

Re: Minecraft
I think the main goal of the game is to defeat the Enderdragon so there's somewhat of a ending I suspect but I never been able to even get close to take it on. That's why I didn't play it at first when it came out, I just didn't get the appeal until some of my old friends got my wife and I to play it with them and we loved it.
Re: Minecraft
Sure! Minecraft is indeed an RPG. The crafting and exploration are all considered to fit into an RPG.

Re: Minecraft
I wonder how many actually reach the end, considering they all get caught up in the materials building.Ravenfreak wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 11:30 pm I think the main goal of the game is to defeat the Enderdragon so there's somewhat of a ending I suspect but I never been able to even get close to take it on. Re: Minecraft
Probably not too many lol. I know you need to farm lots of material to get the perfect armor and weapons, and you'd want to get books to enchant your weapons and armor. Plus at times it's really fun to just build random things, even though I'm not the best at it lol.Demonskeith wrote: Tue May 06, 2025 6:12 amI wonder how many actually reach the end, considering they all get caught up in the materials building.Ravenfreak wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 11:30 pm I think the main goal of the game is to defeat the Enderdragon so there's somewhat of a ending I suspect but I never been able to even get close to take it on.
