I'm surprised I haven't made a topic for this game yet. Since these two games were recently released on the Switch, I figured I finally make a thread for them. I've been playing through Leaf Green and I'm training currently before I take on Blane. I might take on Sabrina first since I know after defeating Blane, Bill asks if you want to go to the Sevi Islands with him. There's some things in Kanto I want to take care of before going there. I currently have 57 Pokemon, I'm working on leveling up my party which consists of a Fearow, Venusaur, Gyarados, Nidoqueen, Dragonair, and Kadabra. They're all in the lower to mid 30's, with some closer to level 40. I barely beat my fifth rival. I had to use a Max Revive that I found in Silph Co. :V

Thinking about grabbing one of them, I should reenjoy my past pokemon love. Pretty sure I'll grab Pokemon Fire Red.

I wish they added online trading in this release. I'm thinking about buying Fire Red as well so my wife and I can complete our Pokedex in the game. We both opted to get Leaf Green lol. I'm currently on the Sevi Islands, I can go back to Kanto but I'm wanting to go through Mount Ember and catch some Pokemon as well as battle trainers before I take on Giovanni. I am definitely not ready to take on my rival either after Giovanni lol.

Yeah they patched some glitches but didn't try to add online support for trading. Kind of lame if you ask me, don't get me wrong I loved being able to trade via the wireless adapter when I was a teenager but now it would have been much better if they added online trading.

They should have added it, would have up the game value of people playing it.

Yep and Nintendo has the technology to easily add this feature. If they were able to patch glitches they can definitely add some extra code to allow the games to work online.

I imagine it does take a lot of work to do to code for all the pokemon, but that's what you get when you keep adding more to the list lol.

You're not wrong! We're well over 1,000 Pokemon now and there's no telling how many Winds and Waves will be adding probably another 70 or so I would assume. I'm about to go through victory road now. I caught the three legendary birds, Articuno took me down to just one ultra ball left! I need to grind a bit before taking on the Elite Four. I caught 70 pokemon now.

Nice! You're making good progress, hopefully I can pick up one of these games after this weekend.
