Am I the only one who still plays Pokemon Go here? I've been playing since 2016, not quite when it first came out though since I didn't have a phone that could play the game when it first came out but I've been playing since July of 2016 at least. I took a break for a while, then got back into the game and now I just catch a Pokemon daily to keep my streak going. I'm at level 40 but in order for me to level up I need to catch 200 Pokemon in a day so once it gets warmer I want to go out and play more. My wife is getting back into the game, and her birthday is Saturday so I think we'll go out and play during Fuecoco community day.

When the game was released it was an instant hit. I had a smartphone but I was not very much interested in playing. Back them I was playing a very few games, and minecraft was one of them. I don't know why I was never interested in it.

I'm wondering if I'll ever make it to level 41. I need to catch a ton of Pokemon in one day so I need to sit aside time to do so. I'm off work all week next week since my birthday is on Tuesday so maybe one of those days I'll play Go for hours lol.

I'm surprised this game is still available to be played! I remember when it came out, seemed like everybody was playing this game. In fact, I remember listening to NPR one morning and spat out my coffee from laughing so hard because of this game. Apparently, some random dude broke into a Sheriff's cruiser that was parked in a parking lot because the Pokemon was literally inside the car! I couldn't believe somebody would be that desperate for a digital totem. I don't remember if this happened in the parking lot of a Dunkin Donuts though...

Oh yeah the early days of Pokemon Go was crazy! The things that people did to get Pokemon was something else lol. One time a person was near a park down the street from where I lived playing Go and he got robbed! It didn't take police long to find the suspect since he was playing Go and the cops tracked him lol.

I don't play it anymore, but my gf does and she still likes it. The game can still be a good time killer.

I guess I forgot to mention in this thread that they're raising the level cap from 50 up to 80. Unfortunately I'll never make it to level 50 to unlock the avatar items at this rate, I'm still only at level 40 lol. The level cap will take effect on October 15th.

Nice they are upping the limit, but I don't know that many that get that far.
