Do you listen to music while grinding in a RPG?

Post by Ravenfreak »

Sometimes you need to grind in order to make it past a certain part in any RPG. It can get tiresome and you might get tired of hearing the same battle music over and over again. So you do listen to music during grinding sessions? I do sometimes, I feel like it makes the grinding go by faster.

Definitely! I usually listen to my favorite singers and bands when grinding. It helps me focus without distractions. It makes the grind feel less tedious.

Most of the time, the game in music is good enough. But sometimes I have to play my own stuff over it.

Yes, I do like the Mood music. It can enhance one’s game experience. It is helpful to lessen the brain's consciousness and enhance our focus on the game.

I remember when I was going through a really epic Techno phase, I found a beat called Sailor Moon Extended Dance Mix. It was perfect for grinding! I remember just having that tune playing on auto repeat for like hours. Another cool techno favorite of mine at the time was something about Sonic the Hedgehog. The song had a really deep keyboard scale or something, it's hard to describe. Someday I may stumble onto it again.
