Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness and Colosseum Are Coming To Nintendo Switch Online on the Switch 2

Fans have been speculating that Gamecube games would be coming to Nintendo Switch Online at some point in the future, but we weren't entirely sure if this was going to happen on the original Switch or on the Switch 2. Turns out, we'll be getting GameCube games via Switch 2 if you have a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. A couple of games announced during the Switch 2 direct were Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness and Colosseum. I've been wanting these games for a long time but they're super expensive like most popular GameCube games are! So I'm very happy to see they'll be coming to the Switch Online service! I'm hoping Mario Kart Double Dash will eventually make it's way to the service at some point too!

Man feels like ages since I've last played that game. I enjoyed that type of Pokemon, wish Gamefreak did more with that series line.

This is awesome news. I'm so happy that Pokémon XD and Colosseum are on Switch 2. Maybe they'll add some of the other classics from the GameCube, too, like Mario Kart: Double Dash.

I think a new direct next month will reveal more on the gamecube offerings.

I'm hoping it will! I believe Gale of Darkness might be announced next month. Not sure about Colosseum though. Honestly right now these two games are why I want to get a Switch 2, I was never able to play these games since they're way too expensive and I'd rather play them on real hardware in some way. I don't mind emulation, but I'd rather play games the official way if I can.

I hope they are revealed as well, I like to replay them and relive my childhood a bit.
