Final Fantasy VI

Post by Ravenfreak »

I'm surprised it took me this long to make a topic about FF 6! Now this used to be my favorite game in the series. It's great, I absolutely love it! I made it to the end and never finished it though. Not sure why I stopped playing the game, I even attempted to take on Kefka but just stopped playing it I guess because I was super under leveled. This game is also known as Final Fantasy 3 in the US, man that numbering system was confusing for us lol.

I got a flash cart the other day and it turns out I can't play Final Fantasy VI with it since I can't save my progress. Perhaps the rom they added on the sd card is corrupted but I guess I won't be playing the original version on my real SNES unless I get a legit copy or repro ah well.

It really is a great FF game, but I'm not sure if I even beat it. The game is extremely grind heavy at the end with needing to control three different parties to get to the end.

Final Fantasy VI is one of the greatest games I have seen. All the characters are made with depth. This game stays with you even if you stopped playing it.

Also I forgot to mention, the save issue is common among cheap Chinese flash carts. I think there's a way to fix it, I've looked it up but it's been a while. I really want to play this on stream in the future for sure.
