What's a feature in any RPG you don't really care for?
Think of that feature in your favorite RPG that you never cared for. What is it and why don't you care for it? What would you want changed if the game was to be remade? I hated going back and forth in Digimon World 3, there wasn't any easy way to get from one sector to another and the encounter rate was high in certain areas. It wasn't like Pokemon where if you had Fly and you visited a city you can quickly fly back to it.

I don't like an instant transport feature, specially if it's a big story thing and I want to see whats next! Or FF 8's magic being items.

I do hate grindy leveling systems in RPGs as it slows down my pace and make the game look like a chore.

Yeah some systems are quite annoying, but usually if it's got a system like this I like to put music on while I play the game and put the game audio on mute so I don't have to hear the battle music over and over again.1stop wrote: Mon Aug 11, 2025 9:20 am I do hate grindy leveling systems in RPGs as it slows down my pace and make the game look like a chore.

I'm just glad more games are coming out with extra exp options, so I don't have to waste time.

That is actually a good way to make grinding palatable. I have done the same thing. I put on music as I level up.Ravenfreak wrote: Mon Aug 11, 2025 8:34 pmYeah some systems are quite annoying, but usually if it's got a system like this I like to put music on while I play the game and put the game audio on mute so I don't have to hear the battle music over and over again.1stop wrote: Mon Aug 11, 2025 9:20 am I do hate grindy leveling systems in RPGs as it slows down my pace and make the game look like a chore.![]()

I usually throw on lo-fi hip hop or a good game soundtracks like Chrono Trigger. They keep me focused .Demonskeith wrote: Mon Aug 25, 2025 6:13 am any certain music you enjoy listening to in order to pass the grinding?

Some good choices, I tend to listen to silence if I don't like a song.1stop wrote: Tue Aug 26, 2025 6:55 amI usually throw on lo-fi hip hop or a good game soundtracks like Chrono Trigger.
