Shining Force CD

Post by Ravenfreak »

So you might think this is a Sega Mega CD port of Shining Force right? At least that's what I thought until I looked this title up on Sega Retro! Turns out is a remaster of two Game Gear titles! They are Shining Force Gaiden and Shining Force The Sword of Hajiya! This is on my list of games that I would like to play blind on live stream someday! I have a Sega CD, I'm not sure if it still works though. However I currently don't have a way to record live footage from my Genesis... Here's a random let's play of this game! This is only part 1.

Another classic that looks fun, I would have enjoyed playing it growing up.

I wish I had a Sega CD as a kid lol. I got mine when I turned 18, so about 17 years ago. You can burn games to a disc and the Sega CD shouldn't have too much of an issue reading it, though this isn't good for the laser. The actual game itself is probably way too expensive to buy now.

unless you can get lucky at a garage sale, I'm sure ebay prices for it are through the roof.
