Just need to do a bit more grinding and gather your healing items and you'll get him.

You're right lol, I will be grinding off camera for sure and get some more items. I'm thinking about taking him on again at level 30, thankfully toad appeared so I can keep buying items from him so I don't have to keep leaving the Factory. (I had to leave at the beginning of the stream because I wasn't aware that if I kept going I would unlock Toad oh well lol.)

I can't remember, but I think there is a better place to train other than the factory. Did you get all the level up chests in the world?

I don't think I got all of them. I suppose since I'm at the end of the game it wouldn't matter if I look that up lol, since I won't get spoiled. I should probably also see if there's any other place that I should go to grind.

Alright I've maxed out the character's levels last night, so I think I'll be ready for Smithy in tonight's stream! I also have the next game I'm going to play picked out and depending on how quick I can beat Smithy I might start streaming the next game too.

I finally did it! I beat Super Mario RPG last night! Turns out I just needed to use Princess Toadstool in place of Mallow and use her healing powers to save my pick me ups lol. I almost beat Smithy with Mallow on my team, but I lost. It was a devastating one too. I didn't have time to start playing the next game, but I do have the opening of the next game I'm going to play at the end of the stream!

Lol I did not! I seen there was another section in the town but I couldn't figure out how to get to it. Maybe in the future I'll go back and reload my save file and see if I can figure out where the hidden boss is and take it on!

It's pretty easy if you poke around town, you should load it up once more and give it a try, it's a thrilling battle.
