Pokemon Gen 4

So I have to admit, this is my least favorite generation of Pokemon. Platinum did fix the problems I had with Diamond, but it still wasn't enough to redeem the main line games. We did get the Johto remakes and they are fantastic! Diamond was just way too slow compared to even Gen 1 IMO! Not to mention they downgraded my favorite feature from gen 3, the secret bases. You couldn't even have a cool base! You were stuck with just one giant room, and that's it. Sure you could have a friend with you and explore the underground but it wasn't as cool as having a secret base where your friends could walk up to you and take you on like a hidden gym leader. Also a few Gen 1 pokemon got unnecessary evolutions like Tangela, and Magneton. I don't like Tangrowth or Magnezone. Also not a fan of Lickilicki either. I know so many fans love Generation 4, but it's the weakest generation IMO.

I'm not hardcore Pokemon fan, but I did rather enjoy Platinum and haven't really played much pokemon after that.
