RPG Graphics vs. Gameplay: Which is more important?

In my opinion, gameplay simply should probably overshine the graphics. Yes, good graphics do help; but I simply get bored if graphics are holding everything in the game . What about you?

I agree I always look at gameplay for any video game before graphics. Also I look at a good storyline especially with RPGs. If it's not interesting, I'll pass.

If the gameplay is not interesting, I quickly lose interest. Great storyline is very important, especially in an RPG.

Graphics is no longer a concern, so these days I just like to have a good gameplay, story and music.

Game play, hands down. My favorite game, actually an MMORPG called Asheron's Call had pretty rough graphics, but the game play was addictive. It was intuitive. When the developers tried to release a sequel to the game in 2010, I think it was, it totally flopped, despite having awesome graphics, the characters were beautifully rendered, the grass actually waved in the breeze. But the gameplay was ... clunky, and therefore, most people, myself included, just stuck with the OG version of the game.
