I'm not sure if anyone here is familiar with this series. If you like magical girl anime, you probably are aware of the series! There was a game for the Sega Saturn that is loosely based on the first season of the anime and the earlier manga. My wife has read some of the manga when she was a teenager, but she was more into Sailor Moon. Still I think it's really cool this game came out in the US, it seems like a game that would have just been released in Japan. Have you ever played this game? It's much cheaper to emulate it, the game like most Saturn games are expensive. Here's a complete playthrough of the game if you're interested!

Didn't know it had a game, I know it has an anime that I plan on watching soon. I think the anime is getting a remake as well.

Magic Knight Rayearth is an old anime which has gained popularity over time. Yes, playing the emulatedversion of the game is the best alternative to playing the game without breaking the bank.

Yabause is a good Saturn emulator. Retroarch is probably even better, there's a few different cores you can install. I believe Archive has bios files you can get to set up the emulator with too.Demonskeith wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 6:06 am I'll have to see if I can find a way to play it, looks like a fun neat little game.

I've got an emulator on my PC when I implemented the SMF Arcade on my old forum. I'll have to see if I can find this game now!
Update: Okay, I found it. Had to dig for a bit, but found it!

I'm glad you found it! This is on my growing list of RPGs I need to play. My wife likes this series, I think she read the manga in high school. I told her about this game in the past and she seemed interested. Since it's for the Saturn it's way too expensive to buy a copy of the game unfortunately lol. I own a Saturn and could import it but I think even the Japanese version is expensive.Senkusha wrote: Fri Jul 04, 2025 9:09 pm I've got an emulator on my PC when I implemented the SMF Arcade on my old forum.
