Final Fantasy (Famicom/NES)

Post by Ravenfreak »

Ah yes the game that started it all! Believe it or not, Square wasn't doing so great when they released the first Final Fantasy game. In fact, that's how the name came to be they truly thought this was going to be their final game so they thought "Hmm why not call it the Final Fantasy?" Who would have thought it would have spawned a huge successful franchise that's still around to this very day! Now I have to ask, did you ever play the first game in the series? And if you did, was it this version or did you play a port of the game? Also what classes did your team consist of when you first played it? I beat the game via the Origins collection on the PS1. It's been a while since I played so I can't remember what my team consisted of.

No, I did not play the first game in this series. Even though Final Fantasy is one of my favorite game franchise, I have not played a lot of games in the series. I have played only handful of games.

For a while I was going to play the games in order, even though I started with Final fantasy VI. It's a fun game, I even took pictures after I beat it lol. Have you thought about giving it a go Nomad?

When it comes to the Final Fantasy series, it's huge and scary to go through every game in it. I'm glad to hear you have enjoyed the ones you've played, and as you want to dig into the rest of the series. Which game has been the highlight for you?

V is my favorite in the series so far! There's a moment in the game where something is revealed about a character, I don't want to say it since I don't want to spoil it for anyone playing the game for the first time. :)

This sounds like a perfect suggestion for today! That is, I can see why it would be so memorable.

I can't recall if I ever played it on NES, but finally played it on GBA remaster. It's simple and basic but I enjoyed it, not its reimanging game though.
