Hopefully it happens one day, as it be pretty fun to have some mods to go with it.1stop wrote: Mon Aug 25, 2025 3:19 amExactly! A PC port would allow many possibilities and with mods and patches, the game could be revived.Demonskeith wrote: Sun Aug 24, 2025 8:18 am
Now that would be awesome! If his methods for disassembling the game work, people could port it to PC!

I hope so too! I'll have to reach out to the rom hacker on Reddit and see if he's made any progress. I've attempted to look into reverse engineering the game but I could never get Ghidra to work with PS1 games...

How come they wouldn't work? Did it keep crashing?Ravenfreak wrote: Thu Aug 28, 2025 9:22 pm I hope so too! I'll have to reach out to the rom hacker on Reddit and see if he's made any progress. It wouldn't produce code no matter what settings I had activated. I think the plugin I got didn't work right with the version of Ghidra I have installed on my computer. I even tried using it to disassemble a Genesis game and I still had issues lol. It could just be me not putting the right settings on in the program. I've heard of other people getting Ghidra to disassemble Genesis roms with ease.Demonskeith wrote: Fri Aug 29, 2025 6:45 amHow come they wouldn't work? Most likely a code issue with a lot of programmers knowing how to easily make it work.Ravenfreak wrote: Fri Aug 29, 2025 7:58 pmIt wouldn't produce code no matter what settings I had activated. It's funny that we keep talking about the guy who's attempting to disassembly the game because someone posted a mod they made of the game just using a hex editor and a debugging emulator lol. In this mod the creator switched the three ra-serus that the main characters get with ones you normally unlock throughout the game or are hidden. I'm going to give it a go on a live stream in the future. I'm thinking about live streaming on more days than just Saturday at some point lol. Here's the mod I'm talking about in action and a download link is in the description of the video too.
